Explore the beauty of native flora and fauna in this engaging, hands-on workshop. Participants will experiment with watercolours, collage and mixed media to create vivid, layered artworks. 

Using paints, paper, magazine imagery, glue and simple tools, you’ll combine observation and imagination to bring animals and their environments to life. Guided activities encourage creativity, play and artistic confidence for all ages and skill levels. Take home your own unique artwork inspired by the natural world.

These workshops form part of a collaborative ARTReach research project exploring creative participation and learning in gallery settings. By taking part, you can contribute your voice and creativity to this research. With your permission, we may photograph artworks and record group conversations to help us understand and learn from these experiences. Participation in the research is completely optional. If you prefer, you are welcome to simply enjoy the workshop.
